Regional Information Security Officer - Continental Europe

As Regional Information Security Officer for Royal Bank of Canada from 2020 to 2023, I oversaw cybersecurity strategy and risk management across multiple business lines in the European region, with primary responsibility for Luxembourg operations. In this role, I developed sophisticated board-level reporting frameworks, including comprehensive risk dashboards and NIST maturity assessments, that clearly demonstrated security ROI and enabled executive decision-making. I ensured strict regulatory compliance across complex international frameworks, including CSSF DORA, BaFin BAIT, and US SEC requirements, by designing and executing robust security strategies that significantly enhanced our Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Vulnerability Management, Security Operations (Qradar), Endpoint Detection and Response (Crowdstrike) and Privileged Access Management (Cyber Ark PAM) capabilities.
